1CHRON 19:2 Kai eipen o Dabid, Qelw kamei eleoV proV Anoun ton uion tou NaaV, epeidh o pathr autou ekamen eleoV proV eme. Kai apesteilen o Dabid presbeiV, dia na parhgorhsh auton peri tou patroV autou. Kai hlqon oi douloi tou Dabid eiV thn ghn twn uiwn Ammwn proV ton Anoun, dia na parhgorhswsin auton.
1CHRON 19:3 Kai eipon oi arconteV twn uiwn Ammwn proV ton Anoun, NomizeiV oti o Dabid timwn ton patera sou apesteile parhgorhtaV proV se; den hlqon oi douloi autou proV se dia na ereunhswsi kai na kataskopeuswsi kai na katastreywsi ton topon;
1CHRON 19:4 Kai epiasen o Anoun touV doulouV tou Dabid kai exurisen autouV kai apekoye to hmisu twn imatiwn autwn mecri twn gloutwn, kai apepemyen autouV.
1CHRON 19:5 Uphgan de kai aphggeilan proV ton Dabid peri twn andrwn. Kai apesteilen eiV sunanthsin autwn× epeidh oi andreV hsan htimasmenoi sfodra. Kai eipen o basileuV, Kaqhsate en Iericw ewsou auxhqwsin oi pwgwneV saV, kai epistreyate.
1CHRON 19:6 [] BleponteV de oi uioi Ammwn oti hsan bdeluktoi eiV ton Dabid, epemyan o Anoun kai oi uioi Ammwn cilia talanta arguriou, dia na misqwswsin eiV eautouV amaxaV kai ippeaV ek thV MesopotamiaV kai ek thV SuriaV-maaca kai ek thV Swba.
1CHRON 19:7 Kai emisqwsan eiV eautouV triakonta duo ciliadaV amaxaV kai ton basilea thV Maaca meta tou laou autou, oitineV hlqon kai estratopedeusan katenanti thV Medeba. Kai sunacqenteV oi uioi Ammwn ek twn polewn autwn, hlqon na polemhswsi.
1CHRON 19:8 Kai ote hkouse tauta o Dabid, apesteile ton Iwab kai apan to strateuma twn dunatwn.
1CHRON 19:9 Kai exhlqon oi uioi Ammwn kai paretacqhsan eiV polemon kata thn pulhn thV polewV× oi de basileiV oi elqonteV hsan kaq' eautouV en th pediadi.
1CHRON 19:10 Blepwn de o Iwab oti h mach paretacqh enantion autou emprosqen kai opisqen, exelexen ek pantwn twn eklektwn tou Israhl kai paretaxen autouV enantion twn Suriwn.
1CHRON 19:11 To de upoloipon tou laou edwken eiV thn ceira tou Abisai adelfou autou, kai paretacqhsan enantion twn uiwn Ammwn.
1CHRON 19:12 Kai eipen, Ean oi Surioi uperiscuswsi kat' emou, tote su qeleiV me swsei× ean de oi uioi Ammwn uperiscuswsi kata sou, tote egw qelw se swsei×
1CHRON 19:13 andrizou, kai aV krataiwqwmen uper tou laou hmwn kai uper twn polewn tou Qeou hmwn× o de KurioV aV kamh to areston eiV touV ofqalmouV autou.
1CHRON 19:14 Kai proshlqen o Iwab kai o laoV o met' autou enantion twn Suriwn eiV machn× oi de efugon ap' emprosqen autou.
1CHRON 19:15 Kai ote eidon oi uioi Ammwn oti oi Surioi efugon, efugon kai autoi ap' emprosqen tou Abisai tou adelfou autou kai eishlqon eiV thn polin. Kai o Iwab hlqen eiV Ierousalhm.
1CHRON 19:16 IdonteV de oi Surioi oti katetropwqhsan emprosqen tou Israhl, apesteilan mhnutaV kai exhgagon touV SuriouV touV peran tou potamou× kai Swfak, o arcistrathgoV tou Adarezer, eporeueto emprosqen autwn.
1CHRON 19:17 Kai ote aphggelqh proV ton Dabid, sunhqroise panta ton Israhl, kai diebh ton Iordanhn kai hlqen ep' autouV kai paretacqh enantion autwn. Kai ote paretacqh o Dabid eiV polemon enantion twn Suriwn, epolemhsan me auton.
1CHRON 19:18 Kai efugon oi Surioi ap' emprosqen tou Israhl× kai exwloqreusen o Dabid ek twn Suriwn epta ciliadaV amaxwn kai tessarakonta ciliadaV pezwn× kai Swfac, ton arcistrathgon, eqanatwse.
1CHRON 19:19 Kai idonteV oi douloi tou Adarezer oti katetropwqhsan emprosqen tou Israhl, ekamon eirhnhn meta tou Dabid kai egeinan douloi autou× kai den hqelon pleon oi Surioi na bohqhswsi touV uiouV Ammwn.
