1SAM 31:3 Ebarune de h mach epi ton Saoul, kai epetucon auton oi andreV oi toxotai kai eplhgwqh barewV upo twn toxotwn.
1SAM 31:4 Kai eipen o Saoul proV ton oploforon autou, Sure thn romfaian sou kai diaperason me di' authV, dia na mh elqwsin outoi oi aperitmhtoi kai me diaperaswsi kai me empaixwsi× plhn o oploforoV autou den hqele, dioti efobeito sfodra. Oqen elaben o Saoul thn romfaian kai epesen ep' authn.
1SAM 31:5 Kai wV eiden o oploforoV autou oti apeqanen o Saoul, epese kai autoV epi thn romfaian autou kai apeqane met' autou.
1SAM 31:6 outwV apeqanen o Saoul kai oi treiV uioi autou, kai o oploforoV autou kai panteV oi andreV autou, thn authn ekeinhn hmeran omou.
1SAM 31:7 Kai oi andreV Israhl, oi peran thV koiladoV, kai oi peran tou Iordanou, idonteV oti efugon oi andreV Israhl kai oti o Saoul kai oi uioi autou apeqanon, katelipon taV poleiV kai efugon. kai elqonteV oi Filistaioi katwkhsan en autaiV.

1SAM 31:9 Kai apekoyan thn kefalhn autou kai exedusan ta opla autou kai apesteilan eiV thn ghn twn Filistaiwn kuklw, dia na diadwswsi thn aggelian eiV ton oikon twn eidwlwn autwn kai metaxu tou laou.
1SAM 31:10 Kai aneqesan ta opla autou eiV ton oikon thV Astarwq, kai ekremasan to swma autou eiV to teicoV Baiq-san.
1SAM 31:11 AkousanteV de peri toutou oi katoikoi thV IabeiV-galaad, ti ekamon oi Filistaioi eiV ton Saoul,
